My first was Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon in 1984.

Anyone remember when the first 4 Beatles CDs came out? It was like the Star Wars Trilogy in excitement at the time.

Sadly enough, it was Vanilla Ice - To the Extreme. My mom bought me my first cd player and a stack of CDs. The only one I can remember was that one.

Top Gun - Soundtrack.

What a classic CD, and I still listen to it on the odd occasion.
Can't wait for the upcoming Top Gun DVD SE!

My second cd was Ramones Mania followed by Best of the Pretenders and Elvis Costello.

Then I couldn't be stopped. Now I have around 6000 cds.

There's really no excuse. I was young and impressionable and MTV had his videos on heavy rotation.
