From billboard.com - Fans are still clamoring for the musings of MTV newest reality star. Ashlee Simpson's Geffen debut "Autobiography" reclaims the top spot on The Billboard 200 this week on a 5% U.S. sales increase to 286,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Sales of the set jumped in the wake of the season finale of "The Ashlee Simpson Show." The album is the greatest gainer on the chart, where it is enjoying its second, non-consecutive week at No. 1. Its debut single, "Pieces of Me," is also the fastest-growing track on Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 and Adult Top 40 charts, where the title climbs to No. 2 and No. 19, respectively.

The return of "Autobiography" to The Billboard 200 summit bounces the 16th installment of the "NOW That's What I Call Music!" series from No. 1 after just one week. Sales of the Universal/EMI/Sony Music/Zomba compilation slid 45% to 276,000 copies, causing it to drop to No. 2.

Jimmy Buffett's former chart-topper "License To Chill" (Mailboat/RCA) climbs 4-3 despite a 13% drop to sales of 101,000 copies, while Usher's "Confessions" (LaFace/Zomba) also rises one, rebounding to No. 4 even though sales slid 10% to 96,000 copies.

Sales of Gretchen Wilson's "Here for the Party" (Epic) fell 8% to 89,000 copies, yet the album climbs 6-5. Avril Lavigne's "Under My Skin" is right behind at No. 6. Even though the set experienced a 2% sales drop to 73,000 copies, the Arista album jumps back into the top 10 after falling 7-11 last week.

As Prince continues touring, his latest album, "Musicology," climbs back into the top tier. Sales of the NPG/Columbia set rose 21% to 73,000 copies. The artist's strategy of including a copy of the album with each concert ticket continues to pay off, helping "Musicology" jump 15-7.

Warner Bros. country act Big & Rich's debut, "Horse of a Different Color" climbs 10-8 despite a 7% drop to 70,000 copies. Similarly, Los Lonely Boys' self-titled Or Music/Epic debut rises 12-9 even though sales fell 3% to 63,000 copies. Rounding out the top 10 is Maroon5's "Songs About Jane" (Octone/J), which ascends seven positions to No. 10 on a 14% sales gain to 61,000 copies.

In the wake of last week's maelstrom of new titles, the big chart is relatively quiet, with only four albums debuting in the top half.

Disney's "The Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement" soundtrack leads the pack at No. 27 as The Billboard 200's top debut. The compilation, which features songs by Kelly Clarkson, Lindsay Lohan, Avril Lavigne and Norah Jones, sold 33,000 copies in its first week.

Smooth jazz saxophonist Boney James enters at No. 66 with his latest Warner Bros. studio set, "Pure." With sales of 17,000 copies, the album bests his last effort, 2001's "Ride," which came in at No. 82 with 16,000 copies.

"The Very Best of Randy Travis" (Rhino) moved 15,000 copies to open at No. 80. The veteran country artist's two prior hits compilations were released on the same day in 1992, bowing at No. 55 and No. 84, respectively.

Rap act Crime Mob places its self-titled BME/Reprise/Warner Bros. debut on The Billboard 200 at No. 90 on sales of 14,000 copies. The group's introductory single, "Knuck if You Buck" featuring Lil Scrappy, lands at No. 30 on Billboard's Hot Rap Singles chart this week.

Following a rerun of the artist's appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," Lionel Richie's latest album, "Just for You" (Island), re-enters the chart at No. 89 on a 200% gain to sales of 14,000 copies. The former Commodore's "Lionel Richie: The Definitive Collection," released last year by Universal, also saw a spike, rising 66% to nearly 14,000 copies and receiving a 156-91 bump on the chart.

Following last week's DVD release of "13 Going on 30," the film's Hollywood Records soundtrack re-enters The Billboard 200, checking in at No. 108 thanks to a 176% increase to 11,000 copies.

Overall album sales of were down 6.5% from the previous week at 11.43 million units, but 8.5% over the same week in 2003. Year-to-date sales total 375 million units, 7.5% above last year.
