Who's this band? Singer sounds like Rush

Heard a song on the radio last night. Couldn't quite catch the name of the band. Might have been something like ______& Cambria?

I thought the vocals sounded a bit like Rush.

No problem. Geddy Lee was the first thing that popped into my head when I heard them as well.

Yeah at first I thought it was a female singer. Then I thought no it's a guy, then I was back to thinking girl, then...well, anyway.

I really hate to think this, but i was listening to my local rock station the other day and on comes this song that sounds like rush, geddy lee especially and it was linkin park "breaking the habit" i guess that's there new radio hit, not a linkin park fan at all (don't care for the rapping) but not a bad song, they didn't seem to rap in this song, which is a good thing...

I was going to bet that the "Who's the band?" was going to be AFI

Interesting...is this where the "Does Linkin Park sound like Rush thread spun off from?!?

My first thought was (before seeing the O.P.'s guess of the band name) was Mars Volta. I've heard some folks say that Volta's singer is "ripping off" Geddy Lee.

Yeah, some friends of mine recently got into these guys. I checked them out and said I'd give them a chance...maybe the guy's voice would grow on me. No sale. I still can't stand his voice. To each his own though.

I tried and tried, but I just can't like these guys. Too repetitive and un imaginative to me. I don't mind the voice, it's the music that bothers me. I'm all for progressive rock and long songs, but when you are just repeating the same song twice it gets a little old.

I just got their new cd. Not nearly as good as the last. I'm somewhat disappointed with it.
