I'm going to see them in Asheville, NC in a couple weeks, for the first time, and I'm totally psyched!

I saw them a couple weeks ago at the Glasshouse in Pomona, Ca (about 30 minutes outside of LA). Great show! It was the first time I had seen them and they did not disapoint. One of the few shows I've come out of with just a big grin on my face. Next time they play LA I'm definitely there again. Have fun you're in for a treat!

I think they're playing the 9:30 Club in D.C. real soon.

Saw them at the Ogden Theatre in Denver just last Monday. Great, great show although the opening act (Wolf's Rain) was crap.

At one point, Thurston was asking for fresh kleenex to blow his nose after which people started calling for him to throw it in the audience. Ewwww.

Plus, they had 3 encores!!!!

Haven't seen them since '93 when Kurt Cobain came out before they played and did "Where Did You Sleep Last Night".

I hear the new Sonic Youth album is amazing. What's it like?

The sound is pretty much in the same vein as their previous release Murray Street, which I prefer. Still damn good though.

After 2 months of listening, I now think Sonic Nurse is their best album.

Go to www.sonicyouth.com

Go to the site map page. On there is a link to a gigography which has them.

BTW, I saw them back in April and they previewed most of the new stuff. Great show as always.
