Imported SACDs

Do imported SACDs play on an American SACD Players?

I have a few that classical titles that are made in Germany, and they all work fine.

got a few SACD's from the UK

Art of Noise - Daft

Feeder - Comfort in Sound

Moloko

Groove Armada

and they definately play on my player.

Interestingly, Amazon.co.uk has a seperate SACD listing on their website, making it very easy to see what's available. Amazon here in the states doesn't do this, which I find very unfortunate and annoying.

SACDs have no region coding... So yes, imported SACDs will play fine on your player.

DVD-A is mostly the same but "technically" they should be R0 - for video based extras. Although, I have read that there may be exceptions to this rule for video information (I've yet to see it). All DVD-A audio information is region free.
