Hollywood Bowl- What are the "superseats?"

Looking to get some tickets for an upcoming concert, but I couldn't find any descriptions of what exactly the "superseats" were. Are they just glorified benches with backs? Checked seatadvisor but they don't have any pics up.

im not sure, but they are probably the boxes. hollywood bowl has mostly uncomfortable benches to sit in, but at the front of the stage is the pit, with seats, which i dunno how anyone gets to it. i think its vip only since i could never get tickets. behind that is the boxes, wich are nice. they hvae seats for 4 there. you can go with a picnic and theres a table there and everything. its expensive, so go with a few people. i guess those are the superseats

Well, from what I've been able to figure out, they're not box seats as those are right in front of the superseats. The regular bench seats are behind this section. Strange but I can't find any info online, guess I'll call them up tomorrow once they open.

I sat in D for Radiohead, and they were bench seats.

Thanks BDB! My browser wouldn't bring up the seatadvisor pics.

I'm headed off to the Bowl's opening night concert. Curious to see how much of an improvement the new shell brings.
