LA people: sonic youth at the troubadour
 

next thursday sonic youth will be at the troubadour. they any good live? im planing on seeing them. haven't heard much of their stuff just heard how great they are. tix are 20 bucks. if you are in the first 125 people to buy their new album at amoeba records, you get a fee ticket

Never seen 'em live, but they have an amazing catalog of material. For 20 bucks, I'd try to go. They are one of the more unique bands out there.
