Everyone digs da OC, so in orda to keep up hits supa pop culture icon status, they decided to release a series hof soundtracks right. Is it coz I is black? Well if me Uncle Jamal were to watch da OC hand buy da soundtrack, me Uncle Jamal will be pleasantly surprised. hand if me Uncle Jamal were to listun to da soundtrack hand thun watch da OC me Uncle Jamal will be absolutely delighted!

A fer real neat feature on dis disc is da fact dat whun me Uncle Jamal pop it into your computa it will link me Uncle Jamal to a special site dat has clips hof wear each song was used. While some hof da scenes is a bit more obscure (Sef hand Ryan at da lobsta tank) udders is definin moments hof da show, dig da fantastic inclusion hof "Paint da Silence" by Souf which played durin Marissa hand Ryan's first kiss. Otha priceless soundtrack moments include whun Ryan's motha left to "Move On" by Jen, hand a numba hof slowa tunes devoted to events wear Ryan leaves, from da sweet acoustics hof "Honey hand da Moon" whun he is goin back to Chino, to da amazin yet simple "Orange Sky" ballad by Alexi Murdoch.

While Jem's "Just A bang" doesn't ave an included video clip it was played on a recent episode in Summer's room in a scene wif Sef hand Summer, hand stands on hits own as a catchy indie pop track. Some hof da otha upbeat tracks include Spoon's "da Way We Get By", "How Good Can It Be" by da 88 hand "We Used To Be mates" by da Dandy Warhols, but all hof these is still at their own unique tempo dat they can't distincly be considered a particular style.

A numba hof otha songs is fer real melodic hand wicked, includin "Caught by da River" hand da enigmatic "Rain turf" wif a fer real unique lead vocalist. A personal fave hof mine on da album is Finley Quayes excellent track "Dice" wif da help hof William Orbit mixmaster. me Uncle Jamal might recall dis songp layin whun Marissa hand Ryan just make a midnight kiss on new years in da last few seconds.

da album is perhaps best ended by da incredibly infectious hand catchy "California" eme song by pop-punk group Phantom Planet known fer their laid-back approach to music. It sums up da album as a whole; well mixed, well catchy hand melodic, reminsicent hof da scenery they is bein played in, hand most importantly, inspires memories hof da OC from start to finish.
