Ever been to a concert at Turner Field?

Well, it's official that Lollapalooza is going to be at Turner Field for the Atlanta show. S-u-c-k-s. Just curious if anyone here has been to a show there and can you explain the setup. Stage in the outfield or closer to the infield? Seems like the cheap seats will actually be the permanent seats and the expensive tix will be stuck out in the blazing sun on the field. What's the deal? Can't find any info online anywhere.

I've never been to a concert at Turner Field but I have been to Comerica Park in Detroit for a Dave Matthews Band concert. They had the stage in the outfield with seats going from the stage back to the bases. I'd imagine that's how they are going to do it at Turner Field.

i'm gonna use Fenway Park as an example

for Bruce Springsteen they had all the crowd on the field, with some in the RF Grandstand and RF Box seats

for Jimmy Buffet they are opening up the whole stadium (RF Box, RF Roof, RF Grandstand, Grandstand, Field Box, Infield Roof, Loge, LF Grandstand, Dugout Seats, and Green Monster) except the bleachers, as the stage is built just left of the Bullpens.

I went to the Summer Sanitarium tour last year in Atlanta which was at Turner Field . The stage was in center field the field was standing only and the seats were general admission . I got seats because that was to long of a show and way to hot to stand all day . We sat behind the first base dugout awesome seats and you could see everything just fine !
