New Phish Single, LOL!
As an old fan who stopped paying attention after New Years in the Everglades, all I have to say is you'll soon be hearing America's favorite jamband on your local adult contemporary station.
Ha, serves these ****ers right for going gay.
It's called The Connection and can be streamed on Rhapsody.

Serves them right? That's usually a term reserved for something malign that happens to someone, not something good (for them.)
More airplay = more money for them.

They don't need shit as far as money is concerned. But alienating the fanbase that created their success is proabably a good way to get a Behind the Music special.

Not only that, but Phish has been on the radio since (at least) the Billy Breathes album, which was way back in 1996. Unless they've decided to give up being a jam band and instead be a top 40 pop band, I don't see this alienating any fans.

So no one has actually heard this song. Billy Breathes was a rock album, this song is cookie cutter adult contemporary, more like john tesh than matchbox 20. But enjoy your sense of false hope. I don't think they are selling out, just going gay. They on't gain a new fanbase, just lose their old one.

That was so gay dude! (That was dumb dude!)
How gay are you dude! (How dumb/crazy are you dude!)
Don't be gay dude! (Don't be dumb dude!)
Usually means dumb, stupid, et al with the new teenage crowd...blah blah blah.
