thank you, i didin't want full albums, so this looks like a good subsitute.
|
Well seeing as to how I own all those songs already, I will not be picking this up. All their albums are worth it, not a single bad song. In other words, their albums are all best ofs.
It's a good way for people to get into them though. So no reason for anyone to not be Pixies fan now, unless you don't like to ROCK! |
I too already own all their albums and a couple of boots, but it's definitely a great song selection for novices (who will then have to go buy all the albums if you're converted).
|
I'll wait for the jumbo digitally remastered box set of all the Pixies albums.

All the albums have already been digitally remastered. They came out last year.
|
Actually, I'm fairly sure that they weren't actually remastered at all. They were just rereleases, but on 4AD, instead of Elektra.
|
Didn't they already put out a Best of Pixies CD a few years ago. Geez!

Originally posted by Rivero Yeah, but I'm certain the tracks on this one are the remastered ones. Plus it's a better and longer song selection. |
also, you can never have too many "best of" collections. look at styx, lynerd skynrd, the who

my main problem with the full albums is that they are so short, i personally think 30 somethin mins for a full album at 20 bucks is too much.
oh and i bought the wave of mutilation cd today. I really like them so far, and i am only about 4 songs in/ |
i paid $9.99 for each "remastered" pixies album.

Originally posted by blinkin_winkin Where do you buy your CDs, man? Go through Columbia House or BMG. Each CD costs about $4. It's the way to go. |
I payed no more than 13 bucks for each Pixies CD, and I've listened to them so much I would've payed 20 easily.
Rypro, if you really like them your just going be getting their albums. |
Originally posted by Rypro 525 sorry, but apparently columbia house doesn't carry any pixies cd's and i can't work through bmg's website. You can find CDs for less than $20 out there. I think I've seen them for $10ish on Amazon. Used CD stores are helpful too. |
