Red Rocks was a live EP. Wide Awake in America was a 4 song EP with two live tracks. These would hardly qualify as albums.

News Of The World came out after A Day At The Races. Also, why start at Night At The Opera? Sheer Heart Attack is as good as anything they ever did.

And The Beatles streak was from Please Please Me through Let It Be, not counting the soundtrack to Yellow Submarine, which is basically an EP with lots of orchestral pieces by George Martin afterward.

Odd that no one has mentioned Elton John. Tumbelweed Connection to Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy.

Also, Brian Eno. Here Come The Warm Jets, Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy), and Another Green World.

Iron Maiden's first three albums (Piece of Mind is good but not consistent), and then from Powerslave to Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.

King Crimson. In The Court Of The Crimson King through Three Of A Perfect Pair.

The Boredoms entire catalogue.

Peter Gabriel. II (aka Scratch) through Up.

Laurie Anderson. Big Science through Deep Red.

Kate Bush. The Kick Inside through Hounds of Love.

The The. Soul Mining, Infected, Mind Bomb.

Genesis. Foxtrot, Selling England By The Pound, and The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway.

The Who. Tommy through Who Are You (including Live At Leeds).

Japan. Quiet Life, Gentlemen Take Polaroids, and Tin Drum.

To suggest some slightly different sounds:

Enigma: "MCMXC a.D.", "The Cross of Changes", "Le Roi Et Mort, Vive Le Roi!". I'd actually call it a 5 album streak since I'll typically just "link" them together.

Enya: "The Memory of Trees", "Paint the Sky with Stars", "A Day Without Rain".

Sarah McLachlan: "Fumbling Toward Extasy", "Surfacing", "Afterglow".

Moby: "I Like to Score", "Mobysongs", "Play".

and while they've already been mentioned, I can't not list them.

Pearl Jam: Ten through Lost Dogs. That's right, I've liked them all! Even Bugs and Lukin and Red Dot and Hey Foxymophandlemama, That's Me. Ok, so maybe I'm lying about Hey Foxymophandlemama, That's Me.

I second Radiohead, Manic Street Preachers, The Smashing Pumpkins, and tons of others. Here's more:

Massive Attack: Blue Lines, Protection, Mezzanine

Elliott Smith: Elliott Smith, Either/Or, XO

Belle & Sebastian: Tigermilk, If You're Feeling Sinister, The Boy with the Arab Strap

Beck: Mellow Gold, Odelay, Mutations (not counting Stereopathic Soulmanure and One Foot in the Grave, which were recorded before these three)

Ben Folds Five: Ben Folds Five, Whatever & Ever Amen, The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner (and Naked Baby Photos doesn't count...it's a b-sides collection!)

Would be pleasantly surprised if anybody else here listens to them, but Spineshank has three albums that are all great IMHO, and never get old Strictly Diesel, Height of Callousness, Self Destructive Pattern.
Most bands in that genre of music (hard rock/metal) get a weak album or two, but they have always put out a great effort.

Bruce Cockburn - Either:
-"Stealing Fire" (1984)
-"World of Wonders" (1986)
-"Big Circumstance" (1988)

or:

-"Dart to the Heart" (1994)
-"The Charity of Night" (1996)
-"Breakfast in New Orleans, Dinner in Timbuktu" (1999)

Nick Drake's three consecutive (and only) albums are also solid.

The Replacements- 'Let it Be;' 'Tim;' and 'Pleased to Meet Me.'

While Let it Be is their finest/peak, there's still fantastic songs on the two following albums.

Talk Talk- Colour of Spring; Spirit of Eden; Laughing Stock.

Ok, so I've never actually heard all of Colour of Spring. But damn it I'm not gonna be the first to mention this band!

The Jam- All Mod Cons; Setting Sons; Sound Affects

It would be the first three, but Modern World falls a bit short of In the City and All Mod Cons.

Aphex Twin- Selected Ambient Works II; I Care Because You Do; Richard D. James Album. (not 100% sure of order, due to pyseduonyms and all).

I'm not sure you can really count mixed up, as it really was just a collection of mixes on the singles. But I love WMS and Bloodflowers is classic Cure. So I disagree with you
