Question about new D12 Album

I know it's Eminem's band, but is he on all the tracks on the cd, or just a few?

he is certainly "not" on all tracks, but he is on enough to warrant buying if you like him enough, plus the other guys in D12 are hilarious.

it's a good album, more of a group album than last time.

Although I prefer Eminem's solo work, I'll still check it out. Their last album was pretty good, i'm sure this will follow up the same.

I ordered it for $9.99 with bonus DVD from Circuit City.
Circuit City, Best Buy, Target, & KMart all have it for under $10 this week.

You can listen to the whole album on mtv.com. I did and it was an okay, slightly above average album. If youre a fan of rap and D12 then youll like. However this album isnt going get a big following outside of its current fanbase. Rap muisc/ hip hop is at an all time low.

All music is at a all time low,imo rap music/hip hop have saved the industry the last few years,as for the album D-12 World is very diffrent then there last album Devils Night, the first song will blow your speakers it pounds that hard,to me Devils Night sorta sounded the same, every song in D-12 World is all diffrent which I think is a +,I would say there both on the same level just very diffrent, plus the free DVD rocks.

There is 18 tracks + 3 skits and I enjoy about 8 or 9 of them tracks and still getting use to the new sound so that might rise after more listens.

I disagree about all music being at an all time low. In terms of figures, yes, sales are down around the board with sites like Kazaa around. But in terms of quality, I think other genres are putting out some great, innovative music, Music from the likes of Billy Talent, A Perfect Circle, Coldplay, and Linkin Park imo is a refreshing surge in their respective genres. D12's album is still formulaic with current hip hop which is not a good thing. There are some good tracks though like 40 oz. I hope Kanye West, and Outkast can bring a new flavor to hip hop and I hope they open the door to guys like Common, Talib Kweli, and Mos Def.

I think this album is kicking Devil's Night's ass... this has some great beats, a lot more serious type songs and i'm really enjoying it... but as with the last album, the tracks that have EM on them kill...the others are just OK... at least some of the EM less tracks here are pretty good, while on DN I thought they were mostly terrible... definately worth the 9bucks with dvd I got it for!

I don't know about this CD being better then Devil's Night. D12 World has some hot cuts on it, but I think that Devil's Night was way better. But I just picked up D12 World a couple of days ago, so it's still growing on me. I think my favorite tracks so far are.

Git Up, My Band, 6 in the Morning, How Come, Leave Dat Boy Alone, Get My Gun, Bitch, D12 World and American Psycho II.

Good CD, but I like Devil's Night alot better.

A 30 min behind the scenes of the making of the album (basically a few home movies and interviews strung together...it's OK...a few really awesome parts in the studio though) and the videos for MY BAND and 40 OZ... all the vids are unedited versions.

MATT

I also think d12 world might be an album that has to grow on you... i've been listening to it for about 3 weeks now....

A lot of music critics say they have to least to an album 4 times before writing their opinion on it.

That's a good policy.

I think people posting crap on here while they are listening to the record for the first time, and aren't even all the way through it yet, is just dumb really.

People, give albums a chance, bash them after you have had time to digest them.

Favorite cut = American Phyco 2, so far......

One thing though, HOW the hell did Bizzare get his own track, only member that recieved that and ON top of the that it was a Hi-Tek Track.

I agree. Linkin Park is bad for the ears.
