15 Shuffled mp3s

Put all of yr mp3s into whatever player you use, set the player to shuffle, and list the first 15 that play. No matter how embarrassing. This should be a legit thread because you can rip CDs onto yr computer.

1. Juan Maclean - "You Can't Have It Both Ways"
2. The Avalanches - "Radio"
3. Parts and Labor - "Happy New Year"
4. Tommy Navarro - "I Cried My Life Away"

I had to do this a weird way with Itunes by making a smart playlist that contained every song based on rating, and did that for 1-5 stars, then said choose 15 sogns at random. I think it made it a little strange, I've never even listened to the last song on the list (a one star cd I don't know why I bought.)

1. A Perfect Circle - A Stranger
2. The Doors - My Eyes have seen you
3. Nine Inch Nails - I'm looking forward to joining you, finally
4. Pearl Jam - Release (live from one of the many live shows I have)
5. Pink Floyd - Not now John
6. Rage Against the Machine - People of the sun
7. Sublime - Date Rape
8. Sublime - Ballad of Johnny Butt
9. Marilyn Manson - This is the new shit
10. Primus - Eclectic Electric
11. Sublime - Work that we do
12. Alice in Chains - Grind
13. Cold - Don't belong
14. Godhead - I sell society
15. The Union Underground - South Texas Deathride

I don't know how so much sublime got on there haha.

Pretty neat idea btw.

Edited to add since everyone else is doing it:

27 Genres
112 Artists
413 Albums
5089 Songs
15 days: 23 hours: 27 minutes: 42 seconds
31.83 Gigs

Ok, I'll play along. Hitting shuffle once gets me (aside from an hour long wait), the following songs:

01) Jungle March and Battle by Erich Wolfgang Korngold (from the Seal Wolf, I think)
02) Kokomo by the Beach boys
03) Outside Call by Jerry Goldsmith (Air Force One, I think)
04) Spyders by John Williams (Minority Report, I think)
05) Hit me With Your Best Shot by Pat Benetar
06) On Your Own by Billy Squire
07) Doctorin' the Tardis by The Timelords
08) The One Doctor episode 4 (A Big Finish Doctor Who audio)
09) Nathan Jones by Bananarama
10) Ballerina in Bondage by Joel McNeeley (the Young Indiana Jones Chronicals)
11) Rawhide by the Blues Brothers
12) Main Title - into Miami by John Barry (Goldfinger)
13) Dont Bring Me Down by ELO
14) The Ballad of Gilligan's Island (in french)
15) Crisis on Iscandar by Miyagawa Hiroshi (Space Cruiser Yamato)

I'd tell you how many hours and files I have, but Music Match doesnt go that high. I'd estimate something in the ballpark of 6,000 files and about 5 weeks of non-stop run time.

01 - No One - Joydrop
02 - Grace is Gone - Dave Matthews Band
03 - I'll Be On My Way - The Beatles
04 - Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground - Willie Nelson
05 - Suspicious Minds (Elvis Cover, Good Morning America 8-16-02) - Michelle Branch
06 - You Look So Fine - Garbage
07 - Runaway (Live, 08-22-69) - Elvis Presley
08 - Sweet Dreams - Marilyn Manson
09 - Away From Me - Evanescence
10 - Cold Heritage - Lacuna Coil
11 - Androgyny - Garbage
12 - Electric Elegy - Darling Violetta
13 - Good Fortune - PJ Harvey
14 - Couldn't Breathe - Lennon Murphy
15 - Star No Star - Jack Off Jill

That from 6006 songs, or 16.1 days, that I have organized. Probably have half again as many unorganized and untagged that were excluded from the random shuffling.

Luckily I don't have much music with skits or short songs. I just learned that Jay Z not only has the same Name as I do, but also is born on the same day of the year!
