Everybody slams this guy endlessly, and I agree his newer stuff isn't the greatest, but AFAIK this album kicks total ass from start to finish.

I have almost all the Big Audio Dynamite albums, and they are all great.

I have Jim Morrison's spoken word album, which I love to listen to when I want to relax.

I suppose I should feel bad about having Marcy Playground's first album, but whatever.

I have some cheesy techno compliation albums, but everytime I think about throwing them away, I listen to a few of the tracks and am taken back.

Probably a bunch of the 80's hair metal cd's, like:

Cinderella - Long Cold Winter
Great White - Twice Shy
Skid Row

etc.

I never listen to them anymore, but just can't seem to part with them for some reason.

From who? Soulless philistines that wouldn't know good music if it bit them in the ass?

Ben Folds rocks my suburbs. (not in a gay way though.)

(not that there's anything wrong with that...)

My main music tastes are Hard Rock/Heavy Metal with a RUSH and BJORK mixed in.

But when I heard "CAN'T GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD" by Kylie Minogue I went out and bought her CD.

I must admit I enjoy it quite a bit.

huh? why would anyone be ashamed of owning this? It's by far the best band in 10 years. The Darkness rules! you should be ashamed if you don't own it!

i've heard complaints from everyone i know when "i belive in a thing called love" first hit radio in october. even one of the djs said that they would play it alot just to annoy others. even though the song is now popular, i still can't find many people that like it.

The fat kid? D'oh!

I own many albums that other people might be ashamed of, but I am not. John Denver, Barry Manilow, Dan Fogelberg, Air Supply, Spice Girls, Vanilla Ice, Firehouse, etc.

I've been told that I should be ashamed of owning and enjoying Michael Jackson's Thriller. Not because of the music but because of, ya know, the other stuff. Same with my Tori Amos discs, but I think that is because the people who see it first note that I'm a 20 year old male with a girlfriend. And, excuse me, but The Anniversary's Your Majesty is NOT a bad album and is BETTER than Designing a Nervous Breakdown, thank you.

Fever is one of the best pop albums to come out in recent years. It's so much darker and more intelligent than its American contemporaries that it's embarrassing.

christina aguilera - stripped

easily the most out of place cd in my collection, sandwiched between AC/DC and Alice in Chains.

and for what it's worth I LOVE that Kylie Minogue song!!!!

I got slammed by a lot of people when I bought Michael Jackson: Number Ones. First of all because it was released the same week he was charged, and secondly because I have every other album, and I basically bought the CD for the lone new song.

Big Kid Rock fan here. Love his stuff. His new CD was alright, nothing special, nothing terrible though.

I'd probably go with Adam Sander's What's Your Name? It's an excellent CD that is much different then what you'd normally expect from a Sandler CD. No skits. The music's great and it's a shame he doesn't get respected a smuch of musician.
