Can you ID Drummers on Target ad?

Who are the two drummers on the new Target ad? The guy appears to be Cheap Trick's Bun E. Carlos, and I think the girl is the drummer for the Donnas but not sure. Can anybody identify them (or confirm my attempt to id them)? Thanks.

I've seen that ad. The girl is definetly from the Donna's (dont know her name). Can't remember the guy though.

You are correct, creekdipper!

Josh-da-man 12-03-03 06:57 PM

Looks like you got both of them -- I was thinking the same thing.

Checking the CD, the drummer for the Donnas is Donna C (aka Torry Castellano)

Oh, and it's a pretty cool ad.

Is it Jimmy Chamberlin?

I love that commercial!

Very nice ad. Right away I knew it was Bun E. and Donna.

Thanks, guys, for replying...now I don't feel totally incompetent at recognizing musicians. I, too, love the ad...it captures the sheer joy of playing as well as any ad I've seen (and bridges the "generation gap" to boot). Right up there with the PBS ad in which the chamber orchestra breaks strings, kicks the piano stool, & smashes the cello in a perfect Townshend imitation (and the crowd goes wild). Although a parody, it's great fun. Ever notice how many of the most memorable commercials center around music? Thanks again for the replies (:

You know, the thing I always dug about cheap trick is that two of the guys in the band look like regular rock guys, and the other two look they just walked out of a Star Trek convention.
