New Tesla CD?

So I was looking for info on a possible new CD from Tesla and ended up stumbling onto the official site. Anyway the last current post said they were working on a new cd, and that they had about 2 albums worth of material. But the thing is this last post was in January. Anybody in the know heard anything?

Been a fan since their first CD. Hope they still rock! Love the Bust A Nut CD. :D

Words can’t explain indeed.

That IS a mouthful isn't it.

I am ready to throw my money on the counter for this one. Talk about a band that is out there to have fun and rock. NOT to sound like one of the big 5 Seattle bands of the early 90's. It will be a refreshing change. Too bad it probably will never see the light of day on modern radio.

Coming out on March 9th, can't wait to hear it.

I can't wait. They have actually been playing the new tune regularly on my local radio station.

It is a nice break from the staind, nickleback, korn routine.

Can't wait for this.
Also March 9th has the Brides of Destruction disc.

I'll definitely be picking up both Tesla & Brides. As a lover of 80s rock/metal, March 9th is one of the best days for new cd releases in a long time for me.

If you register at Tesla's website you can download the full mp3 version of their new single. I listen to it atleast a couple times a day, it's pretty dang catchy.

bump.

Release day.

Best Buy has it for $9.99.

rockinbrian19 03-12-04 08:54 AM

Was $8.99 at Best Buy in Milwaukee.

Yep just picked it up a half hour ago. $8.99. Nice. Preliminary listen. It rocks!

Demontooth 03-12-04 03:13 PM

I like it alot. It's a good CD, and for $8.99 at Best Buy, you can't go wrong. Or at least $8.99 in Louisville.

MJKTool 03-12-04 03:17 PM

I might just have to pick this up. Tesla has always been one of my favorite bands from that period. How would one, who has listened to it already, compare it to their other albums?

Michael Corvin 03-12-04 03:47 PM

I think it is their hardest album. With the usual 2-3 slower tempo songs(the radio song being one). I like it so far.

If you liked them in the past not much has changed. Maybe has a more modern feel to it, but not enough to drown out their style.

Michael Corvin 03-13-04 08:23 AM

Just wanted to add something funny I read in FHM. In their little blurb about the release they say "We think of Aerosmith as the poor man's Tesla." Got a kick out of it and thought I would share.

Osiris 03-13-04 11:43 AM

That is too much

Celtic Bob 03-13-04 05:40 PM

I got BOD but have yet to get Tesla. It is top priority but haven't seen it in this little town. :(
