Avril Lavigne "My World" DVD [11/4]
Arista Records and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment have joined forces to release music DVDs, beginning with the Nov. 4 launch of Avril Lavigne's "My World."
"My World" will feature a concert, a behind-the-scenes featurette, five music videos and a six-song bonus audio CD that includes four unreleased tracks. The performance was filmed May 18 in Buffalo, N.Y., on the final date of Lavigne's five-week head-lining North American tour. Video clips for "Complicated," "Sk8er Boi," "I'm With You," "Losing Grip" and "Knocking on Heaven's Door" are also included in the DVD package.

Avril DVD To Debut On Big Screen
Avril Lavigne's "My World" DVD, due Nov. 4 from Arista Records and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, will premiere the day prior with screenings at AMC Theaters in 24 U.S. cities. The artist will attend the premiere in New York, at the AMC Empire 25 Theatres in Times Square.
Other screenings of "My World" will be held in Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Boston, Houston, Detroit, Atlanta, Miami, Seattle, Phoenix, Minneapolis, San Diego, St. Louis, Baltimore, Tampa, Fla., Denver, Cleveland, San Francisco, Indianapolis, Orlando, Fla. and Kansas City, Mo.. AMC will partner with Movie Tunes and a radio station in each market to distribute tickets.
As recently tipped here, Lavigne will join fellow Canadian Sarah McLachlan Nov. 4 for a concert in New York that will be broadcast five days later by women's cable network Oxygen.
