Recommend me some Jay-Z
 

I've started listening to a local rap station, and decided I like Jay-Z's sound (I know, I'm a little slow on coming around). Every track I hear featuring him I've liked, unfortunately I don't always catch the title. I really like La La La, and Crazy In Love is pretty good. Can anyone recommend some other essential Jay-Z tracks? I also know of Hard Knock Life, but little else.

Albums you must buy are Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint. They are awesome.

come and get me is a great song

Damn Evenflow, except for switching out a couple of the more commercial songs that's almost the exact list I would have made. If you like songs where he's "featured" the Mya's "Best of Me Remix" is good. "Guns and Roses" with Lenny Kravitz and Talib Kweli's "Get By Remix" are also great songs with Jigga. As for the older stuff Dead Presidents is great song.

I agree with some of the others...run out right now and buy THE BLUEPRINT... which is absolutely amazing...one of the best albums in recent memory.
