Is 9/23 one of the biggest CD release days?

Dave Matthews, Limp Bizkit (-ohbfrank-), Obie Trice, Murphy Lee, Outkast....some pretty big releases this coming Tuesday. What you picking up?

For sure I'm getting the new Outkast, and probably the new Dave Matthews. After hearing (early) the new Obie and Murphy Lee, I'll probably just stick with my burnt copies ;)

AndyCapps 09-17-03 11:32 PM

You mean 9/23? ;)

I'm picking up Dave Matthews for sure. Maybe get limpbizkit out of pity/nostalgia.

PJsig08 09-17-03 11:34 PM

Oops my bad :D

And PLEASE don't encourage Fred Durst. I've heard the new album and I think its awful.

Dave Matthews for me most definately......considering I have all of his concert/studio CDs and then some. :)

Fuel is a must as I picked up a preview DVD used for 4.95 of Fuels upcoming CD. They had 2 videos for the new CD as well as Hemmorage and Shimmer. Seems like they've gotten a lot heavier. Best $5 I've ever spent.

The question I ask myself is why don't other labels do this? It's a great idea. I mean who wouldn't buy a DVD sampler with videos of the new songs as well as their older videos.

Rypro 525 09-18-03 04:47 PM

regarding fuel, my brother said that the new song is a bit slower then "some like it human"

grunter 09-18-03 06:33 PM

I'm not feeling the love for the 23rd.

I'm only interested in the Outkast disc.

Rzarecta 09-18-03 06:55 PM

I was looking forward to this too, but since I really have heard nothing about it and with the release date coming up I went to the news section of the flaming lips page and read "The new Flaming Lips DVD will not be coming out before November 4th. Just so ya know. "

Sucks doesn't it. http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk/smilie/mecry.gif

RevLiver 09-19-03 10:00 AM

None of the releases mentioned so far interest me at all. I'll pick up:

Accelera Deck - Ippissima Vox
KMFDM - WWIII
Matmos - The Civil War
Meat Beat Manifesto - Storm the Studio R.M.X.S.
Peaches - Fatherf***er
Plastikman - Disconnect
David S. Ware Quartet - Threads

I did pick up the Perfect Circle, David Bowie and Raveonettes releases this past week.

And the week prior I got the new Silver Mt. Zion, David Byrne, and Lithops (Jann from Mouse on Mars' solo project).
