Is 9/23 one of the biggest CD release days?
 

Dave Matthews, Limp Bizkit (-ohbfrank-), Obie Trice, Murphy Lee, Outkast....some pretty big releases this coming Tuesday. What you picking up?

For sure I'm getting the new Outkast, and probably the new Dave Matthews. After hearing (early) the new Obie and Murphy Lee, I'll probably just stick with my burnt copies ;)

I'm picking up Dave Matthews for sure. Maybe get limpbizkit out of pity/nostalgia.

I'll pick up the Dave cd. This last tuesday was bigger for me though (new APC and PJ.)

Don't forget the DVD-A version of Flaming Lips' "Yoshimi...", tons of extras and super-high quality sound. :drool:

This is actually pretty good. The 1st track totally licks an AC/DC line, the 2nd track's opening bass is straight out of The Stooges "Lust for Life", and "Rollover DJ" is probably the gem of the album. Aw man, it's so much fun. I think you'll dig it.

Dave Matthews for me most definately......considering I have all of his concert/studio CDs and then some. :)

Fuel is a must as I picked up a preview DVD used for 4.95 of Fuels upcoming CD. They had 2 videos for the new CD as well as Hemmorage and Shimmer. Seems like they've gotten a lot heavier. Best $5 I've ever spent.

The question I ask myself is why don't other labels do this? It's a great idea. I mean who wouldn't buy a DVD sampler with videos of the new songs as well as their older videos.

regarding fuel, my brother said that the new song is a bit slower then "some like it human"

I'm not feeling the love for the 23rd.

I'm only interested in the Outkast disc.

I was looking forward to this too, but since I really have heard nothing about it and with the release date coming up I went to the news section of the flaming lips page and read "The new Flaming Lips DVD will not be coming out before November 4th. Just so ya know. "
