Do you have a favorite that you and your girl skated to on couples?
 

Angel Baby by Rosie and the Originals record was worn out playing for us guys that had girlfriends back in the sixties.


If not the sixties what was your favorite guy and gal song, that nearly everybody requested for couples only? Optional what were you and your girl doing such as Dancing, Roller Skating, Ice Skating and what year (s) etc.


Mae and I were into Roller Skating, I met Mae there at the rink we were regulars starting at age 13, Mae died as my wife in 1979 at age 27. I kept on skating until my career ending accident June 9, 1985 stopped my roller skating for good.

A long time ago, back during the 3rd grade roller rink parties, I think I tried to skate all fast and smooth for this one absolutely gorgeous blonde girl named Deleigh. I fell flat on my face right in front of her, with I think Michael Jackson's Billie Jean in the background.

I ended up the entire night sitting on the sidelines with my dad nursing a gigantic bruise on my forehead.

She came by and asked me if I was ok though, and man was it worth it :)

Chim in all of my 25 years of roller skating I must have bruised every part of my body, but hearing all those gals saying you okay made it all worth it just like your experience. :)
