You think you're getting chills from Fallen. Download "Answer." You'll be in tears before it's over.

Sarah did Fallen last night at the MGM Grand as part of a benefit concert. It was beautiful and sounded great. She said she just put the finishing touches on the album last week nd it was the first time she sang for an audience "in a long time". It's nice to have her back.
Her mini-set was:
The Difficult Kind (with Sheryl Crow)
Fallen
Angel
Daniel (everyone had to do an Elton John song)

The video for Fallen is up on her website.

Sarah with long hair again and naked in a bathtub...

According to her website, she will be on Letterman on 11/3, Regis and Kelly on 11/5, and Leno on 11/12.

THANK YOU

I've never wanted to be bathwater until today. And she has sort of a Chely Wright thing going on with the long, straight, dark hair. Sara Evans, too, with this pic:

Her website has RealPlayer clips of all her songs, it looks like. I really don't want to install RealOne on my computer to listen to them, though.

Sarah, could you please move your hand down a bit?

I'm glad Dave is getting her first. I hope the song is a hit for her, it's very good, and there's so much crap out there. I actually can't wait to get this CD.

Speaking of her scheduled appearances (and there are lots and lots of them), how about this one?

I saw the video on VH1 the other night.

"Move your arm!" was my reaction as well...

Fallen is an awesome song. I liked her better with short red hair, but she's still a cutie. I think the video director got the singing underwater thing from Evanescence. Great video and song!

If you don't want to mess with the RealOne player, the video is also up at Launch.

FYI...you can hear the whole album at VH1.com.

I've had most of it for the past 2 weeks and "Time" is my favorite thus far.

GREAT album.

Cool... I'll setup my DVR to record some of those shows. Can't wait until Amazon ships her album out.

Does anyone know if there's going to be a DVD-Audio release of the new album? I know Surfacing and Mirrorball are supposed to be released in DVD-A so maybe Afterglow will be too. I'd like to know, as I would get that instead of the CD if it's coming soon.

Holy cow, that's neat. I'm really surprised they would do this... aren't there programs that would let you rip the audio stream to a file? Presto change-o, instant Sarah McLachlan CD or MP3s to put on the web.

Yeah, but for those of us who actually believe in supporting a worthwhile artist or an audiophile concerned with sound quality, that scenario wouldn't suffice.

No matter how much "mastering" you could do to it, it wouldn't equal the CD experience.

Then again, i'm sure if her album doesn't sell the first week [which it SHOULD], it wouldn't surprise me if the RIAA claimed rampant piracy from the VH1 stream was the cause...

at the iTunes site, there's a "Live Acoustic EP 2003" available..

5 songs...$4.95.

I didn't buy it. Not 'cause I don't want it [I downloaded iTunes SPECIFICALLY to see what was on it]..I DO want it...but it just feels funny clicking a button that says "Buy Album" and getting 5 MP3S...

just can't do it.

but if it's ever released in STORES [hell, or on her site] it's mine.

Just fyi....anyone in the NYC area wanna go with me to the Oxygen taping??

I'm going on Tuesday and have an extra ticket. I'd like to take someone who really loves Sarah.

I'm damn excited. It'll be my first time seeing Sarah live in a good 5 years.

I'd love to go, but I'd never make it to NYC on Tuesday. If I had had a week's more notice...

Circuit City will have Sarah's new CD for $9.99!! Was hoping for somebody (Target, Best Buy) to have bonus track(s). Guess not.
