I usually keep a stack of discs in the passenger seat of my car, and rotate them out every couple of days. Today I've got:
Parliament - Tear the Roof off the Sucker Greatest Hits 1974-1980 Radiohead - Hail to the Thief Jimmy Cliff/The Harder They Come Soundtrack Annie - Original Broadway Cast Album (no, really) Neko Case - Blacklisted (never leave home without it) |
in the car:
Arch Enemy: Anthems of Rebellion here in the office: Already listened to: Symphony X: The Damnation Game Now: Symphony X: The Divine Wings of Tragedy Later: Symphony X: Twilight in Olympus, V: The New Mythology Suite, and The Odyssey. ...I think my theme for the day is pretty obvious. |
The new Pigeon John CD (Is Dating Your Sister) came in the mail today and I just now listened to it straight through. Great stuff - better than his last. Not sure how many Pigeon John/LA Symphony fans there on these boards, but I can definitely recommend this one if you like him/them.

Originally posted by Ergyu I must say that the new stuff sounds incredible. I just saw them last night on their final Lollapalooza stop, and the new songs are awesome. Danny Lohner came out to play guitar on Judith and 3/4s of Janes addiction came out to play a guitar solo and drums on Thomas. On a side note, Maynard came out to sing with Chris during Audioslaves set with just those 2 and an acoustic guitar. Awesome. Also on a sidenote there is a clip from the Lollapalooza show floating around where Janes invites Maynard to join them playing Kasmir from Led Zeppelin....wow I WISH I could have seen that!! |

Ya, last night Janes invited Tom Morello up to play some and Chris also invited Perry out during his set too. I was surprised at how much inter-band activity there was. It was nice to see them all having as much fun as the fans were and getting around and together from time to time. I wish APC had played at night though, that was my only gripe. |
Morrissey *snicker*
