I am

What about Long Beach on Monday? I'm going to that one too

Does anyone know if they'll allow cameras at either venue? I think I'm going to try to get my digital camera in.

Going to the Thursday show in Mtn. View. Been a verrrry long time since I've seen these bands - Maiden twice ('82 and '83), Dio thrice ('82 (w/Sabbath), '84 (first Dio concert EVER at the Antioch Concert Barn) and '85) and Motorhead probably 10 times. I'm stoked!

Great show!!!! Maiden played songs they haven't played for some time and the stage looked great. Although, I thought the sound system was a little lame because we could barely hear Bruce.

IMHO, Ronnie James Dio stole the show. Dio has a great voice and a stage presence that is simply awesome. He played title tracks from several albums of different bands he was in over the years.

Lemmy and the gang...It was my first time seeing Motorhead live so that was pretty cool. Lemmy gives such a cool "rock n roll" vibe and he looks so cool on stage it's heard not to like him and the boys.

Here in San Antonio on the 15th, he did Mob Rules and Heaven And Hell (my favorite Black Sabbath tune). VERY cool. Dio's STILL got it, regardless of what Tenacious D has to say...

Maiden was great, though for some strange reason, Bruce Dickinson kept running offstage during guitar solos. His rant on file sharing/taping/the record industry was amazing.

You lucky Son of a Guns Ya'

I had to miss Maiden on this tour, yet once again. I havn't seen them since the No Prayer For the Dying Tour. I do hope they come back near my area during the DOD TOUR. I'm sure they will seeing how the DOD Tour, is going to be thier last major world wide tour. On thier web site, they spoke of scaleing back thier touring on futare albums, by mainly only playing outdoor festavilles in Europe, with only a few gigs elsewhere. The DOD Tour might be our last chance to see them here in the U.S. Sad times indeed. I'm glad you guys enjoyed the show.

UP THE IRONS!!

What did thay say. as far as I knew Jack Black is a huge Dio fan, as well as a friend of Ronnies. Tenacious D even appears in the "Push" video of Dio's with a rather funny rendition of Heavon and Hell.

The lyrics to Tenacious D's Dio...

Dio has rocked for a long, long time,
Now it's time for him to pass the torch.
He has songs of wildebeests and angels,
He has soared on the wings of a demon.

It's time to pass the torch,
You're too old to rock, no more rockin' for you.
We're takin' you to a home,
But we will sing a song about you.

And we will make sure that you're very well taken care of.
You'll tell us secrets that you've learned. Raow!
Your sauce will mix with ours,
And we'll make a good goulash baby.
Dio, time to go!
You must give your cape and scepter to me.
And a smaller one for KG.
Go! Go! Dio! Dio!

All sung with tongue firmly in cheek, of course...

IMHO, Dio stole the show.

Bruce seemed kinda irritated to me. Also, I heard they dropped some songs and made the show shorter after they played the East coast

I saw them here in Detroit last month. My first time seeing them with Bruce. We were about 7 rows from the stage!!!!

I had to keep convincing myself that I was really there. It felt like I was watching my Rock in Rio DVD we were so close.
