A very remarkable story, and a very sad one also. I am glad that he was able to complete the CD, as it was apparently a very important goal to him.

As a small aside, his version of Knockin' on Heaven's door is very good.

yep...and I'll be getting it. I'm a fan and have been since about 1983. my final radio anthology produced was a 5 hour music fest featuring his music....about 9 years ago. one of the coolest people I've ever talked to.

I've been lucky enough to see him 6 times and meet him 4 times. He's one of the nicest guys I ever met and one of the most brilliant lyricists of the rock era. Its going to take years for people to realize what we've lost once he does pass on.

Picked up the CD this morning. Great disc. The last track, "Keep Me In Your Heart For A While", is very emotional.
