Rock's hottest females

There was a thread similar to this about a year or so ago.
Wanted to revive it to see who would make the list this
time around. I nominate Toni Haliday from Curve.
Who I think is the most hypnotic front woman in music
this past decade. And sadly, most people don't even
know who she is. Check out any of the Curve
websites sometime.

Also, the female in the band below (link) is probably
going to sell a few records based on her looks alone.
She kind of looks like Shannon Elizabeth on the pic
on the left hand side of the main page. Check out
the song too. Not a bad little tune.

Melanie from One True Thing. Nobody knows who she is, but she sings one song on each of the discs released by From Autumn To Ashes. Her voice is amazing.

@Rogue588 : I thought maybe your answer was in response (or a nod) to her Rolling Stone cover (the Rock issue). But wasn't quite sure. You never know

@Rypro525 : Is your answer in response to the crap/backlash Liz has received for going mainstream? She'd be on my list as one of the hottest. But I'm afraid to mention her again. One member here is keeping track how many times three of us have mentioned her in the last few months

If Rolling Stone considers, those people "ROCK" musicians, then, yes, they have no idea at all what the hell they are talking about. Those people do not sing "ROCK" music.

Yes, especially the first album, the one that all the critics go on about as greatness personified.

Yeah, I know. What's that all about!? I mean, it's a really good album. But hardly worth the praise the critics gave it. And STILL give it. Something that still eludes Liz herself.

I think critics have a collective **** over lo-fi recordings. Maybe not so much anymore, but in the early 90s - and to some degree today - it was all the rage. The whole "indie-cred" bit; moreover, just because it feels so raw and honest. As for me, a person who has never liked Liz Phair, I've never seen the point in all the salivation.

-edit to add-

On topic, Maura Davis of Denali is quite gorgeous.

Yeah, Exile in Guyville is overrated.
