The word "tribute" was used ironically.

If you say so. That would be akin to calling Weird Al's music a tribute... not that this guy is anywhere near the caliber of Weird Al.

Just tellin' it like it is. He should have labeled his work as a parody not a tribute. Tributes are meant to compliment the band not make fun of them.

As far as the song goes. Yeah, sure the music portion of it was decent, and the lyrics were kind of funny, but this guy's voice blew the whole thing. I just couldn't get past the whining screechy... ugh fingernails on the chalkboard... seriously. I couldn't even finish listening to it.

Pretty much sums up how I felt about half way through St. Anger.

Thank God some of us have a sense of humor.

It actually gets funnier each time you listen to it. The next time I hear St. Anger on the radio, I am going to be crying with laughter. Btw, I thought the mp3s he has for the Theocracy project were pretty damn good if you like Queensryche, Dream Theater, etc.

Well, forgive me for having an opinion. Not all things are funny/clever/dramatic/exciting to everyone.

I put this here 'cause most of the ST. ANGER threads are closed.

I watched the whole show on Saturday and they didn't play it. I did see it on the band's website. I thought the video was cool at first, but then got very repetitive.

They celebrated murderers and rapists with their St Anger video in San Quinten. Who are "their hearts with" now for this video? Al-Queda?
