Conway Twitty is the man!!!
i DO realize "Tear in my Beer" is Hank Williams
I was merely stating the fact Conway Twitty rocks.

I have a Country-Western CD, titled "Columbia Records Country Classics," and it has such greats as "The Battle of New Orleans," "Davey Crockett," "Soldier's Joy," "Flowers On The Wall" (a cheat since the first time I heard it was through Bruce Willis singing along in his car in Pulp Fiction...I digress..."Tennessee Ragtop Bop" (uh, I'm drunk right now, and I don't think that's the real title by Johnny Cash).
I like alot of it.

Since when is C&W from the '80's "old"? Man, I'm out of touch.
Some suggestions:
"My Son Calls Another Man Daddy" and "Wedding Bells", both by Hank Williams (NOT his son)
"Mama Tried" by Merle Haggard
"He Stopped Loving Her Today" by George Jones

Don't you have to drink if you listen to old country? At least that is what I have to do, something about it just calls for a beer.
I hate country, but love classic country up to some of the early 80s stuff.
