Pearl Jam Concert Cancelled In Cincinnati

Pearl Jam Cincinnati Concert Canceled by Promoter Due to Venue Flooding
Seattle, WA -- Due to the unprecedented amount of rain experienced by the entire Ohio Valley over the past several days, and the continued rise of the Ohio River water level, the promoter and venue have decided to cancel Pearl Jam's performance at the Riverbend Music Center scheduled for Thursday, June 19.

The band is very disappointed they won't be able to play Cincinnati but we understand fully the promoter's and venue's decision to cancel as safety is everyone's main priority," said Pearl Jam manager Kelly Curtis.

The promoter advises all patrons holding tickets to return them to the point of purchase for a full refund. Information on returns for those who bought their tickets through the Ten Club is forthcoming.

Looooots of disappointed people on the Pearl Jam fan board about this one. I'm just hoping they use the time off to get Eddie fully healthy, and then give an epic performance at Alpine Valley Sat. night.

Yeah buddy! I will be in Indy and both Detroits, so hopefully Ed is not still sick. I am quite bummed about Cincy, since I was going to the Reds-Cubs game too.

I didn't know you were going to Detroit.

I just saw on TM Center section seat ROW A!!!!

I think that is 8th row dead center right behind the pit.
This was for the 2nd night.

right now the only show I'm 100% sure on is Boston #3.

I saw them for the first time back at Riverbend(also first time) a couple of years ago. I wasn't impressed. I think it was more the venue than it was Pearl Jam.

I think they could really use the extra day off - I was at the United Center last night and Ed was clearly hurting. Coughing, blowing his nose, etc. pretty much all night long.

Still a kick-a$$ show though.

Hopefully, 3 full days of rest, and he'll be good to go for Saturday night.

Just think, if it was the Alpine show from 2000 (the "Ice Bowl"), there's no way they'd be going on. I expect it will be a little warmer this time.

He was sick last night, blowing his nose on stage and stuff, but still played like 26 songs or so... Awesome show, and the first time I saw the united center rocking, and had been there for several other shows including u2, pumpkins etc.

Can't wait for an ice bowl reunion
