At 530, listened to kirk mark and lopez on 98rock and flipped between that and Howard Stern when he started. Then station b104.3 does 104 min of commerical free music starting at 8 am.

If I was awake at 7 and was driving I would be listening to a CD. Can't stand talk while driving unless I'm with friends.

Listened to the local classic rock station WTPA on my ride into work. When I got to my cube, I popped in Big Audio Dynamite's F-Punk .

I can't stand most talk radio. In general it's awful... but I've been a long time listener of Kevin & Bean (Kroq 106.7), and they are usually really enjoyable to listen to. They're more comedy than shock, etc. They're not annoying like Jamie White (of Jamie & Danny)... etc. They also launched the careers of people like Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Corolla (for better or worst)... in fact some of Jimmy's guests have been from the show.

So.. anyway... that's what I listened to this morning.

Mostly Sports "Mitch in the Morning" KJR-AM. During commercials, flipped over to FM and looked for music (mostly found it on the oldies station). Pretty much all talk on the radio in Seattle in the morning, even the "music" stations.

I have a hard time listening to commercial radio now because of all of the commercials, roughly 1/3 of the time is spent on commercials.

So, this morning, as I do the vast majority of mornings, I listed to National Public Radio. This morning, when I was listening, they were interviewing a scientist who figured out that the Y chromosone actually does a lot more than previously thought.

Hey, it was better than commercials!

AM sports talk followed by the latest Tomahawk CD... I quit listening to FM radio years ago... Sterile, canned, major label driven poop.

Whoever replaced Maury O'Dell on our local AM station since he retired on Friday after almost 30 years; and Clark Howard for a little bit. Final Fantasy soundtrack on the way home. [Was in the wife's car, only had a few of my CD's, and I despise commercial radio, and I didn't want babyhead to listen to Christian Death, which was my other CD in her car.]
