NEED: Alternative Songs from 1990-1995

I'm putting together a few CDs from this time period and have most of the mainstream music I want. I've put together a list of those alternative tracks I remember as well (ahh the good ole days of Q101 in Chicago) but I know I'm forgetting a ton.

This is where I need input from this knowledgeable group.

Innundate me with your favorites from those years and hopefully I'll remember a tune or two (or 20) that have skipped my mind.

Thanks in advance for all the help!

it might be alot more helpful if you were to post a list of what you have thought of, therefore allowing everyone to waste as little time as possible

i'm interested in brainstorming for you!

Not sure exactly what sort of music you're looking for, but I know I've left out some obvious areas of alt. music (grunge, for example). Also I stuck with mostly the released singles on my list... most that I've listed have album/b-sides songs that are just as good or better.

Belly - Feed the Tree, Gepetto
Kristen Hersh - Your Ghost
Julianna Hatfield - Everybody Loves Me But You, Spin the Bottle, My Sister
PJ Harvey - Sheela Na-gig, 50 Ft Queenie, Man-sized
Bjork - Big Time Sensuality, Army of Me
Jesus and Mary Chain - Sometimes Always
Breeders - Cannonball, Divine Hammer
Flaming Lips - She Don't Use Jelly
The Muffs - Everywhere I Go, Sad Tomorrow
Cocteau Twins - Heaven or Las Vegas
They Might Be Giants - The Guitar, Statue Got Me High
Lemonheads - Rockin Stroll, Mrs Robinson
Concrete Blonde - Joey, Bloodletting, Walking in London, Someday?
Shelleyan Orphan - Burst
The Cure - Friday I'm In Love
Siouxsie and the Banshees - Kiss Them For Me, Fear
Veruca Salt - Seether
Sonic Youth - Dirty Boots, Kool Thing, Bull in the Heather
Mattew Sweet - Girlfriend

Hope it helps.

Actually, the lists thus far are right on the money.
I have a wide range of likes, as my personal CD collection runs the gamut from Buffett to Metallica to Enya to The Shamen ... an a ton of stuff in between.

Loved groups like The Jesus & Mary Chain, The Darling Buds, Utah Saints. Basically I'm looking for anything you can think of that you really liked from that timeframe. Chances are I did too, but have since forgotten them ... if that makes any sense
