Brazilian import concert dvd's at best buy

Maybe most bestbuy's carry these, I just noticed them at mine.

Page and Plant: NO quarter
Guns and Roses: Use your Illusion 1
Ozzy: Blizzard of Oz
Deep Purple: Cal Jam

I bought these off ebay a while ago from brazil. Sure would of been easier to get from best buy.

I've seen a bunch of these at my BB and Media Play as well.

Iron Maiden: Live After Death
Black Sabbath
Rush: Exit Stage Left
Paul McCartney: Paul Is Live
Black Sabbath & Blue Oyster Cult: Black & Blue Live
Genesis: The Way We Walk - Live In Concert
Ozzy Osbourne: Speak Of The Devil
AC/DC: Live At Donnington
Kiss: Animalize Live

Oh well, that's about all I can recall right now although I know there are significantly more "Brazilian" titles at both of those stores.

EDIT:

I'm not sure how long this tread will last because the Brazilian dvds are generally looked down upon around here and on occaision by some of the bands who are represented by these "imports".

The fact that a big chain of stores has started stocking these discs probably won't do much to lend a air of legitimacy to the Brazilian DVD crusade around these parts.

However, personally they seem to me to be a product that is legally sold with a dvd magazine in another country, (under thier copyright laws). Now I think that BB, Media Play and whatever other retailers stock these discs wouldn't be doing so if they hadn't already checked into whatever laws pertain to the selling of imports.

Now it's unfortunate that some artists are not particularly fond of these dvds which seem to have become public domain in Brazil. I think it's equally unfortunate that the bands are apparently not recieving any royalties from the sale of these discs. Personally I would be upset about that and would probably condem them on my website too. Perhaps there really is nothing that bands can do to stop the sale of these imports besides cry fowl and hope your fans support you enough to boycott the discs until the artist has enough time to put together a release of that title that they can profit from.

Oh well, just my two cents. I really don't want to see a huge, ugly debate over these discs. All I'm saying is that just because we don't like them and may think that they are wrong may not neccessarily mean that they are illegal to buy or sell.
