Midnight Oil - Diesel and Dust

I'm hitting myself upside the head for getting rid of that in high school. What a great album.

Well, the first cd I bought was a single for Blur's "Country House". Not only was it their new song, but it had the EXCELLENT duet of Damon Albarn and Francoise Hardy on "To The End".

Long before I had a CD player!

The first LP Compact Discs I got were New Order's Best Of, Trainspotting's soundtrack and Blur's Modern Life Is Rubbish. The first CD album I bought myself was probably Radiohead's "The Bends".

Mine was Aerosmith's Pump & LL Cool J's Mama Said Knock You Out.

Got them when I didn't even have a CD Player because I won some CD vouchers during a radio call-in contest...

This was about six months before I bought a cd player.

I think my second was Ramones Mania.

"Freedom Rock" (a two disk set from a TV commercial, I actually bought this before I had a CD player.

Those of you who watched TV in the mid 80s will remember this commercial: "Is that Freedom Rock dude?" "Yeah man" "Well, turn it up!"
