My Morning Jacket/Burning Brides vs. Arab Strap/Bright Eyes (help me choose)
 

I will be able to see one of the following shows, since they're on the same night:

My Morning Jacket & Burning Brides

Arab Strap & Bright Eyes



Anyone have any opinions one way or the other? Live experiences with any of the above?

Personally, I would go see Arab Strap but head for the door as soon as Bright Eyes hits the stage. I think My Morning Jacket is decent, but I don't like them enough to buy anything or see them live. I don't know anything about Burning Brides.

I'd go for the My Morning Jacket/Burning Brides show. I've never really heard much from any of these bands/people, but those are the two I'm more intersted in checking out.

I'll be perfectly happy with my life if I never own a Bright Eyes album. I dunno.. I just think the whole Omaha scene is overrated, and Conor seems to be about 80% of the scene. I like Cursive quite a lot though...

I would go see Arab Strap and the Bright Eyes show. Before we get into rich boy Conor should up rant, Bright Eyes puts on the best show out of the lot especially with the full orchestra set and Arab Strap is really good also. Burning Brides is godawful in my opinion but hey, what can I say. Plus, Burning Brides tours like no other, so it isn't like this won't be the only chance to see them.
