Song at beginning of Metallica MTV Icon commercial?!
anybody know what the piece is? it sounds as if there are two songs within the commercial - one is simply orchestral and then there is a choral bit. are they indeed two different songs? if so, what is the first one?

I haven't seen the commercial...but could it be "Soon" by My Bloody Valentine? Or "Stockholm Syndrome" by Yo La Tengo? Cause the former is the track I have playing now and the latter is the track that just finished.

It's the INTRO that they use at their CONCERTS... I think is called, "ECSTASY of GOLD"...

It IS "ecstasy of gold" by Ennio Morricone from THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY. Metallica play it as an intro for some of their concerts.
