The only Rush song you hear on the radio is Tom Sawyer or Limelight.

Led Zepplin had countless hits and even more great songs. Clqassic rock radio was pretty much built on their back. Yet, I've only ever heard about three of their songs:
Stairway to Heaven
Rock N' Roll
Misty Mountain Hop

Sounds like anything on a classic rock station.

Your station must really suck since out here the classic rock stations play most of the hits from each record.

Zepplin actually had no hit songs, as they had no singles - but the radio stations just got to pick what to play off of their records - and that's just what stuck.

They had a few singles as noted in the liner notes but most of those are not on the radio.

True 98 does play a decent variety...but nationwide it is a different story.

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts "I Love Rock and Roll".

Songs I hear for Kiss is "Beth" (What can I do)

KoKoMo and Do it again by The Beach Boys

White Rabbit and Somebody to love..Jefferson Airplain (Grace Slick)

Nice of them to play "Be my Baby" with The Ronettes and Ronnie Spector as the lead singer. I get a laugh when seeing Darlene Love lead singer for The Crystals being cast as the worlds worst cook on the Lethal Weapon 1, 2, 3, and 4 movie and sequels with Danny Glover and Mel Gibson.

Johnny Angel~Shelley Fabares landed on the Coach TV series. Jimmy Dean is selling his name sausages, Frankie Avalon pushing cucumber facial cleansing cream.
Who they were and what they are doing now
would be a great post in Music Talk. A few weeks ago I got rid of my Vhs and said hello to Deborah Harry AKA Blondie whom the 1980 new wave group were named after, ooh ooh she sure looked good in 1979 singing "In The Flesh" using a HDTV W/S HDTV with Progressive scan and built in line doubler.

A-ha "Take on Me" - yes, even though their song "The Sun Always Shines on TV" was also released on vinyl

Their latest album "Lifelines" is great btw.

what ike0000 said. Creep is the only Radiohead song I've ever heard on the radio around here.

Barenaked Ladies - One Week
Blues Traveler - Hook or Runaround
Cardigans - Lovefool
Collective Soul - all they play is December and The World I Know
Counting Crowes - Mr. Jones or December
Goo Goo Dolls - Name and Iris
Jimmy Buffet - Margaritaville
Live - Lightning Crashes
Squirrel Nut Zippers - Hell
Styx - Mr. Roboto is all people hear and the version of Come Sail Away with Cartman
Toad the Wet Sprocket - Walk on the Ocean
Weezer - Buddy Holly or Hash Pipe
