I borrowed 'em... you like 'em too?

A friend at work let me borrow some really nice recordings from the past couple of years. A few bands I had never heard of before. Since I'm a sucker for Beatles-inspired electronica you'll see why I like these discs. Like any of these?

Ming Star "King of Woolworth's" Love this one. Another band who must dig Air.

Neil Halstead "Sleeping On Roads" I have some Slowdive, but not Mojave 3. Is Mojave 3 like this or Slowdive?

Kings of Convenience "Quiet is the New Loud"

Eltro "Velodrome"

Her Space Holiday "Manic Expressive" Reminds me of the High Llamas in spots. Cool disc.

Malory "Outerbeats" This would have been truly awesome with better production.

Tram "A Kind of Closure" Did not like this at all (vocals bugged me).

Blue States "Nothing Changes..." Not bad, not blowing me away.

The last two Mojave 3 albums are more in the key of Neil Halstead's solo album, though I recommend checking out the first two. I very much dig this solo album.

A super fine record, I must say!
