Are most of the Black Sabboth remaster cd's recorded too low?

I have the one that is 5.99 and is just a piece of paper that is black with 10 tracks. And imo, the thing is way too low, since if this is music you wanna turn up, you gotta do it very high and of course, if you forget to turn it down, you go deaf or get kicked out of the house -wink- . I was thinking about getting the 2 disc set that came out in november. Is that any good as for my problem, or am I losing my hearing?

It's possible -- likely, even -- that it's mastered properly. You're probably just used to listening to compressed CDs.
