For COUPLES - Do you (as a Couple), have a Song ?

You know how many couples have a special song which they call their song

for dvdtakers in a relationship, do you have a couple , have a song ?

if so, what song ?

and if you want to tell us how it became your song, feel free :)

The song for my gf and I is simply 'Endless love', the original, not that Mariah Carey cr*p version

why ?

we played it before we made love for the first time :) :)

"My Beautiful Bride" by the Handsome Family.

Out in the heather
where the sun burns bright
she swore to love me
the rest of her life.

But, my hands they shook
as the noon bells chimed
so at the last bell
I showed her my knife.

And I laid to rest my beautiful bride
out in the heather
where the sun burns bright.

Now all alone under the cool night sky
where locusts scream and white moths fly,
silvery moonbeams fall on her grave,
but twisting black vines have covered her name.

For I loved too much my beautiful bride
and so gave her up
to the cool night sky.

My fiancee' and I have "Halo" by The Cure.

I put it on a mix tape I made to introduce her to the Cure's music. It was the song she liked the most and it became our song. It basically describes our feelings for each other.

HALO

I never felt like this with anyone before
You only have to smile and I'm dizzy
You make the world go round
A thousand times an hour
Just touch my head
And send me spinning

I never felt like this with anyone before
You show me colours and I'm crying
You hold my eyes in yours
And open up the world
I can't believe all this

I want to keep this feeling
Deep inside of me
I want you always in my heart
You are everything

I never felt like this with anyone before
You fill my head all full of rainbows
And all the rainbows end
Is every step you take
Just to be with you forever

I want to keep this feeling
Deep inside of me
I want you always in my heart
You are everything

Seriously.

"All the Young Dudes" - Mott the Hoople

It was driving home from a softball game when my guy was singing the chorus "hey dudes" to the song on the radio that I realized I loved him.

And he was so friggin' cute when he was doing it.

Any chance that your wife has 2 husbands? It's just such a freaky coincidence otherwise. ;)

Dude, didn't Brenda and Eddie get divorced in the song? You two were doomed from the start!

As a matter of fact, they were also the king and the queen of the prom. But the lazy bitch split after the money got tight (my interpretation). Typical woman. :)
