Your Help Is Needed.....all Of You!
I am making a mp3 disc for a party I'm having. Problem is, I have loads of Alternative, Metal, RapCore, Hip-hop. What I'm looking for is music like Stereo MC's "Connected" or the like. Examples:
Genie in a bottle?? <----Possibly a bad example Daniel Beddingfield's, "James Dean" Clubbing music. In all it's forms. Some call it Raver music, I guess Chemical Brothers fall under that category, or Crystal Method. I hope this helps lead you to the way of helping me. Any specific bands, groups, soloists, and particular songs w/artist, song titles are greatly appreciated. TIA!!!!!! |
Doth no one have any suggestions?
|
Propellerheads: Decksanddrumsandrockandroll
Lot's-o-good fun, upbeat tracks throughout the disk. |
Thank you sir!
Anyone? Anyone?.............. |

The closest thing to Stereo MC's I can think of is Happy Mondays. They were a really talented band that wasted their talent on drugs. Their story was featured in the movie 24 Hour Party People.

Thanks, Keep'em coming.
Stereo MC's was just an example, not necessarily looking for a particular style of music, just something within the genre, any other rec's are welcome! |
Fischerspooner: "Emerge", perhaps?

Daft Punk might work as well. Most people will recommend their first album "Homework", but I personally prefer their follow-up "Discovery".
