It figures that the first time they actually play Orlando in many, MANY years, that you can't buy tickets. One of the local radio stations is starting a "private concert series", and you can only win tickets from them! At 8:30 in the frickin morning, they tell you the PJ "song of the day", and when it plays sometime in the next 14 frickin hours, if you are the 9th caller, you get a pair of tickets. This is P'ing me off so dang much! PJ, in my town, at a small club, and chances are that I'll not be able to go! AHH!

Why in the sam hill are they promoting an Orlando show in AZ?! If you were to win them, and were to pass one on to me, I would be eternally grateful (and just a TAD indebted) .

The radio guy who is doing it is a legend in Phoenix and pretty well known in the industry. I'm sure he has some pretty good connections.

Sounds like there are a lot of chances to win. HOB Orlando can hold about 2000 people.. there must be another way to get tickets, unless that radio station is playing the PJ song of the day many many times a day.

Right now they are just playing it once or twice in the 12 hour block. I also emailed the tenclub about the event, and they just replied with "No information is being released about this show at this time." .

Pearl Jam will be playing a small show at the House of Blues in Orlando on April 12th. Tickets are radio-only it appears, as radio stations like 92.3 K-Rock in NY and 105.9 O-Rock in Orlando are giving away tickets to the show. There's also a very good possibility that there will be an online video webcast of the show on realone.com.

In addition, more of these types of shows may be popping up in a few other cities during the tour. We'll post more info as we get it..

Sounds like whatever conglomerate owns all the "altrock" stations in the country is running the contest and will be giving away tix nationwide. Yeah, they prolly didn't mention that you're competing against the whole country. Another reason why corporate radio sucks.

Only clear channel does the whole country thing, and not all radio stations are clear channel.

Yeah, NY's KROCK is sending 92 PEOPLE To this show!

You have to be the 92nd caller when they play the song, then you win a copy of RIOT ACT, and if you happen to have a 92 Free Card you also get the trip to the show.
(and no reason not to have the card, as it's free and you can sign up anytime).
