Eminem in Detroit

I just bought tickets to see Eminem play at Ford Field. It is his only planned concert in the US. I don't really know many of his songs, but he is a local so I figured I might as well check out what the big deal is.

If you were going into this blind, get one of his cd's or listen to the radio more. Also, if you are offended by "homophobic" lyrics, references to rape and murder, and of course lots of language, stay away from this concert.

I'll buy the ticket if you don't want to go :D

The songs I know are the radio songs. I really like "Lose Yourself." The lyrics don't bother me, but I would not classify myself as a rap fan, although I like some of it.

Josh, do you live in the area, are you going to the show?

Yeah, you may also want to stay away from television shows and movies ... ah, hell, just don't leave the house.

eminem's no worse than anything else ... he is just the one who's been targeted. If you can handle a Rated R movie or an HBO television show and actually listen to lyrics before judging their content, you should have no problems.
