A music industry boycott this month?

I've heard rumors that there's supposed to be a music industry wide consumer boycott on Febuary 14th. Has anyone else heard the same thing or is it just me?

I think a week long boycott would be even more effective than just a single day. Since new releases usually come out on a tuesday.

I've been boycotting the music industry for ages. CDs are too expensive, so I buy them used, which probably pisses off the RIAA no end.

Considering the way the industry's sales have been in freefall, I'd say there's been a boycott going on for several years.

I've been boycotting every RIAA label since they took Napster to court. Get with the program, already.

No.

Boycott the CD purchase and use that money to see the artist on tour.

I wish I could get to more shows, but I like 3 hours from the Cities.

If the artist would make more than 2 cents(or whatever crazy low-ball amount) for every CD sold,I might.

Yes.. cus we all know that the RIAA is doing all this for the good of the artists

They are just protecting their own pocketbooks and not giving a damn about the money the artists make off their own cd sales.
