Who covered Aerosmith's "Dream On"?

My friend said he just heard someone covering it...i caught the end, sounded like a cover. He said Dio, but i didn't think so....

Has anyone covered it?

Don't say Eminem with the asinine song

I was at a restaurant about a month ago and I heard a cover of Dream On by a female artist. Don't know who it was though. And FWIW, I thought it sucked.

Kathy Fisher did it on her latest album. I first heard of her when she did a cover of L-O-V-E for the Chyrsler PT Cruiser. You can hear samples of both songs here:

I believe The Mission UK did a cover a long time ago. It was decent. Nothing special.

Didn't Eminem use it in one of his songs? Maybe that's what your friend heard.

Not a fan of sampling, but didn't Eminem use it recently. :D

Dio did infact cover it with Yngwie Malmsteen on guitar, the vocals are very good but Yngwie completely butchered the guitar stuff.

Thanks, one GOOD reply.

EMINEM did NOT cover Dream On, he sampled it....SAMPLED.

Covered = you are singing someone else's song.....

Sampled = Using someone else's song in yours

plus, if someone would've actually read my original post......sheesh
