Radiohead's 6th LP
It's going to be awesome. I've heard some of the new songs and they are amazing. Think The Bends, but darker. Think Talk Show Host. Radiohead calls it their "dark pop" album. I can't wait until it comes out. I've been listening non-stop to Radiohead for a week in anticipation of this album.

When is it due out?
|
In June, I think.
|
Man, you are going to be listening to Radiohead for a long time in anticipation for the new album! ;)
|
so are they going back to more guitar driven music? i was kinda enjoying their journey into abstract minimalist guitar music.

Ah, but will they tour?

Originally posted by evenflowddt I don't mind listening the best band on the planet for like 5 months or whatever. They do have 3 masterpieces, 1 great album and 1 very good one out plus amazing b-sides. Heck, their b-sides are better than 99% of the album cuts by all the other bands. I totally agree with that. I've been listening to the b-sides a lot lately and they really are great. They could make an incredible album just by putting like 12 of the b-sides on. The new album should rock. |

You Never Wash Up after Yourself 5. Talk Show Host 6. Pearly* 7. A Reminder 8. Polyethylene Parts 1 and 2 9. Palo Alto 10. Bishop's Robes 11. Cuttooth 12. Worrywort It would be an incredible album, indeed. |
13. How Can You Be Sure
14. Killer Cars |
Great news!
*Puts in KID A* Oh yeah! That's what I'm talking about! |

Originally posted by evenflowddt I love Maquiladora. It's a great song. But my favorite B-Side has to be Talk Show Host. That song is SICK! Best B-Side ever. yeah once again i agree. this could easily be on an album of theirs. it's better than mosts bands best songs. |

Is there a good reference for listing Radiohead's B-Sides and what "albums" they were released on?

a great radiohead website with a complete discography (and b-side listing) and pretty much anything you might ever need on Radiohead is Green Plastic Radiohead.

I think it's time to show that they still know how to make guitar driven poppy music with a purpose, rather than delve once again into the depths of atmospheric compositions that lack structure and catchiness... |
