<BLOCKQUOTE> • Quoth tha_dvd_man •<HR SIZE=1>Is that a typo? The only Classic Sinatra: 1953-1960 I see has 20 tracks. This album, right?

Also, does Sinatra really work on the ladies? :) I wouldn't have thought so for a guy my age (21), but who knows.

Sorry about that ... poor phrasing on my part. There are 36 unique tracks, 4 of which are duplicated, which makes 40 total (or 20 per disc). The disc you linked is the one I was refering to.

And if it doesn't work on a lady, the lady isn't worth having. ;)

Ahh ok, I should've understood that. Thanks again. :)

das- I was looking around for 'Classic Sinatra' for about a week or so until I gave up, and I ordered it online almost a week ago. It should get here soon.

In the meantime, I'm still enjoying 'Reprise'. Very enjoyable music, he has such an amazing voice.

Ah, ok ... I figured you had already bought it by your other post. I was digging through some used CDs yesterday, stumbled across it and thought of the thread.

das-Sorry I haven't replied. I don't get to the music forum often enough, especially considering how much I love music. I do a search for threads I've posted in and for some reason this one doesn't show up.

Anyway, I ordered two from BMG but don't have them yet:

Classic Sinatra
Reprise: The Very Good Years

I'm starting there and can get more later.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Anyone own the Reprise Collection and it is worth the $90 price tag? It is out of print at Amazon but just wondering which albums did the songs come from?

I don't own this box set but a friend of mine, who is a big Sinatra fan, says that this is the best Sinatra box set ever made. Basically, if you're a fan of "latter years" Sinatra, it wouldn't be a bad investment if you can find it cheap.

I have it and it's great. But generally speaking, I tend to prefer his Capitol work.

I have both the single disc sets of Capitol and Reprise and I ended up getting the box sets of both from my mom when she passed away...(I bought them for her)
