Favorite Eminem lyrics

Eminem fans what are some of your favorite lines from his songs? Here are some I like:

There's a place called Heaven and a place called Hell
A place called Prison and a place called Jail
And daddy's on his way to all of them except one.

and..

You already took my lunch money
what more do you want from me?

These crack me up every time:

You know the song by Phil Collins, "In the Air of the Night"
about that guy who coulda saved that other guy from drowning
but didn't, then Phil saw it all, then at a a show he found him?

Here're mine (quite a few):

But you can't just stand there and try to judge/
It hurts, but your jealousy tears you up inside as much/
And its such, a pleasure every button that I touch/
I treasure every glutton that I punish in my lust/
If anyone has Nas' Stillmatic album, he says this on Ether (the Jay-z diss):
And, Eminem murdered you on your own s***
I'm 99.9% sure he was referring to this, from Jay-Z's Renegade. Some of Eminem's best lyrics:

Now who's the king of these rude, ludicrous, lucrative lyrics/
Who could inherit the title, put the youth in hysterics/
Usin' his music to steer it, sharin his views and his merits/
But there's a huge interference, they're sayin you should inherit/
Maybe it's hatred I spew, maybe it's food for the spirit/
Maybe it's beautiful music I made for you to just cherish/
But I'm debated, disputed, hated and viewed in America/
As a muthaf'n drug addict, like you didn't experiment!/

Now, now, that's when you start to stare at who's in the mirror/
And see yourself as a kid again, and you get embarrased/
And I got nothin' to do but make you look stupid as parents/
You f'n do-gooders, too bad you couldn't do good at marriage!/
From the same song...
See I'm a poet to some, a regular modern day Shakespeare/
Jesus Christ, the King of these Latter Day Saints here/
To shatter the picture in which of that as they paint me/
as a monger of hate and Satan, a scatter-brained atheist/
But that ain't the case, see it's a matter of taste/
We as a people decide if Shady's as bad as they say he is/
Or is he the latter - a gateway to escape?/
Media scapegoat, who they can be mad at today/
See it's easy as cake, simple as whistlin Dixie/
while I'm wavin the pistol at sixty Christians against me/
Go to war with the Mormons, take a bath with the Catholics/
in holy water - no wonder they try to hold me under longer/
I'm a motherf'n spiteful, DELIGHTFUL eyeful/
The new Ice Cube - motherf'ers HATE to like you/
What did I do? (huh?) I'm just a kid from the gutter/
makin this butter off these bloodsuckers, cause I'm a muh'f'n/
Renegaaaaade!/
This is from 8-mile so I'm putting it in spoilers:
Spoiler:
This is from the battle with Lotto, the big guy with huge pecs, wearing a tank top (just so you can understand all the references)
Is that a tank top? Or a new bra?/
Look, Snoop Dogg just got a f'n boob job!/
...
Matter 'f fact dog, here's a pencil/
Go home, write some s***, make it suspenseful/
And don't come back until somethin' dope hits you/
F it, you can take the mic home wit you!/
[You're] lookin' like a cyclone hit you/
Tank top screamin' "Lotto, I don't fit you!"/
You see how far them white jokes get you/
Your boys like "How vanilla ice gon' dish you?"/
My motto - F Lotto/
I'll get the seven digits from your mother for a dollar tomorrow/

Don't really know how it ties into the song, but Chandra Levy was that intern that disappeared and was later declared a homicide. So I think it's kind of a play on words if you think of Levy as in leavy as in she disappeared. That's the only thing I can make out of it.

I know Chandra Levy (how couldn't you! it was all that was on the news until 9-11), but I just never got the line. There's no real context in the song for it.

When I first heard it, I was thinking that it might be 'leave-y', as in, 'how can she be lost so long and nobody can find her', but I thought it was kind of a stretch. But now that you're thinking the same thing, maybe it's not too much of a stretch...

I like these lyrics for the simple fact, it reminded me of me when i was growing up

"That's why we, sing for these kids who don't have a thing
except for a dream and a ****in rap magazine
Who post pin-up pictures on they walls all day long
Idolize they favorite rappers and know all they songs"

This seems true as well

"They say music can alter moods and talk to you
Well can it load a gun up for you and cock it too?
Well if it can, and the next time you assault a dude
Just tell the judge it was my fault, and I'll get sued
See what these kids do is hear about us totin pistols
and they want to get one cause, they think the ****'s cool
Not knowin we really just protectin ourselves
We entertainers, of course the ****'s affectin our sales
You ignoramus, but music is reflection of self
We just explain it, and then we get our checks in the mail
It's ****ed up ain't it? "

"More pain inside of my brain than the eyes of a little girl
inside of a plane, aimed at the World Trade"

These lyrics are real too.

"I feel like I'm walkin a tight rope, without a circus net
Poppin perkaset, I'm a nervous wreck
I deserve respect; but I work and sweat for this worthless check
I'm bout to burst this tech at somebody to reverse this debt
Minimum wage got my adrenaline caged
Full of venom and rage, 'specially when I'm engaged
and my daughter's down to her last diaper, it's got my ass hyper
I pray that God answers, maybe I'll ask nicer"

some pure comedy here, the whole song is a funny story:

"I walked in and all I smelled was Liz Claiborne
And seen her spread across the bed naked watchin gay porn
She said "Come her big boy, lets get acquainted"
I turned around to run, twisted my ankle and sprained it
She came at me at full speed, nothin could stop her
I shot her five times and every bullet bounced off her
I started to beg "No, please let go"
But she swallowed my ****in leg whole like an egg roll
With one leg left, now I'm hoppin around crippled
I grabbed my pocket knife and sliced off her right nipple
Just trying to buy me some time, then I remembered this magic trick
Den Den Den Den Den Den, Go go gadget dick!
Whipped that **** out, and aint no doubt about it
It hit the ground and caused an earthquake and power outage"

"I strike a still pose and hit you with some ill flows
that don't even make sense, like dykes usin dildos
So reach in your billfolds, for ten ducats
and pick up this Slim Shady **** that's on Rawkus
Somethin somethin somethin, somethin I get weeded
My daughter scribbled over that rhyme, I couldn't read it"

That dykes and dildoe line is so tru haha

Dosent matter if you like Eminem or not, his rhyme scheme is one of the best ever, most of these lyrics you can probably noticed that hes rhyming the 2 last words instead of just rhymin the last word like most rappers do, and his flow is second to none.

My first thought too. Heres the whole verse

I don't got that bad of a mouth do I?
F***, sh**, a**, b****, c***, shoobie-do-doo-wa
Skeebie-ba-be-wop, a-Christopher Reeves
Sonny Bono, skeezes, whores, & hittin' some trees
How many retards will listen to me
And run in the school shootin' when they're pissed at the teach-
-er, her, or him, is it you? Is it him?
Wasn't me. Slim Shady said to do it again.
Damn! How much damage can you do with a pen?

I was scrolling through the thread, fully prepared to post this... such a killer verse.

"you beef with me, I'm gonna even the score equally.
take you on jerry springer and beat your ass legally.
I get you blunted off of funny home grown.
cause when i smoke out i hit the trees harder than sonny bono, (oh no!)
so if i said i never did drugs, that would mean i lie and get ****ed more than the president does!

Hillary Clinton tried to slap me and call me a pervert
I ripped her ****in tonsils out and fed her sherbet (Bitch!)
My nerves hurt, and lately I'm on edge
Grabbed Vanilla Ice and ripped out his blonde dreads (**** you!)
Every girl I ever went out with has gone llez
Follow me and do exactly what the song says:
smoke weed, take pills, drop outta school, kill people and drink
And jump behind the wheel like it was still legal
I'm dumb enough to walk in a store and steal
So I'm dumb enough to ask for a date with Lauryn Hill
Some people only see that I'm white, ignorin skill
Cause I stand out like a green hat with a orange bill
But I don't get pissed, y'all don't even see through the mist
How the **** can I be white, I don't even exist."

forgot this chorus:

"to all the weed that I smoked - yo this blunts for you
to all the people I've offended - yeah **** you too
to all the friends I used to have - yo i miss my past
but the rest of you *******s can kiss my ass

to all the drugs that i've done - yo i'm still gon' do
to all the people i've offended - yeah **** you too
everytime I reminisce yo I miss my past but i still don't give a ****, ya'll can kiss my ass."

"I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet".

"If I could capture the rage of today's youth and bottle it
Crush the glass from my bare hands and swallow it
Then spit it back in the faces of you racists
and hypocrites who think the same sh*t but don't say sh*t
You Liberace's, Versace's, and you nazis
Watch me, cause you thinkin you got me in this hot seat
You m*****f*****'s wanna JUDGE me cause you're NOT me
You'll never STOP me, I'm TOP speed as you POP me
I came to save these new generations of babies
from parents who failed to raise 'em cause they're lazy
to grow to praise me I'm makin 'em go crazy
That's how I got this whole nation to embrace me
And you fugazi if you think I'ma admit wrong
I cripple any hypocritic critic I'm sic'd on
And this song is for any kid who gets picked on
A sick song to retaliate to, and it's called.."
