What's Your Favorite Album Cover?

I would love to be able to buy certain album covers in huge posters.

1) "4" by Foreigner
I like this one because it shows the old fashioned TV countdown - five - bleep - four - bleep - three - bleep - two - bleep - one... You don't see that anymore.

2) "Black Sabbath" by Black Sabbath
The whole scene is eerie - with the witch in the back ground in the woods...ooohhh

3) That Neil Young album where he's leaning against a tree - but its all viewed like minicular structure.

I'm not sure why, but I really dig this one:

It just captivates me for some inexplicable reason. I like the album itself, too. I wouldn't say it's my favorite album cover ever(I have difficulty picking favorites), but it did spring to mind upon reading the topic question.

Simplicity is beautiful.

This one is fun too, and most fitting:

Probably this

That Clash one is pretty cool too, though (and I disagree about the music sucking)

Here's the Elvis Presley cover that inspired it:

Tom Waits "Rain Dogs" would get my vote, followed closely by David Bowie "Scary Monsters" and Beatles "Abbey Road" (duh!)

(Sorry, I'm at work and cannot post pics....)

And, lest we forget, these threads can be a pain to load for people on dial-up. I remember that this one (now locked) used to take an age:

  • What is your favorite album cover art? [dial-up users beware: MANY pics!]

Off the top of my head I always liked the cover of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. [Link]

I really want this version since it has the bonus song "New York City Cops".

There are TWO good reasons why I like this cover. Never heard the music though.

I bought this album blind not knowing anything about the music. I just thought the cover was awesome.

Actually, now that I think about it, one of those above reminded me of probably my all time favorite album cover:
