Some top ten pop list. Three country albums, a soundtrack, a compilation, and a record by a dead guy.

Is this really what people want to hear?

It don't bother me. I have 8 of the top 10. The only ones I don't have are 2pac (which I plan to get) & NOW 11. One reason these might be selling good is because Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, 8 Mile, NOW 11, JLo, Faith Hill, Avril Lavigne, & Christina Aguilera CDs could be found for $8.99-$9.99 Thanksgiving week. Also Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, & Paul McCartney had concert specials on this week promoting their CDs.

My thoughts exactly.

But wait:

The top ten boasts one half of a country album!!! Sort of.

To the 2Pac fans on this thread...I don't know how I came across it, but I found a review for Jay-Z's new disc a while ago before it was released. They mentioned Jay-Z saying something about 2Pac on a song with Faith & how he "sampled" from some old 2Pac song [Toni Braxton did too].

Anyways...the reviewer [who was obviously more of a rap fan than I] said that Jay should stop bringing up 2Pac's name, since there was no love between them when 2Pac was alive. Was there a beef that was overlooked during the whole East/West war?

I'd appreciate a cliff note version or even a link.

Thanks.

I thought I hated country until I realized I hadn't really heard it before.

On 2pac's Mavakeli album, it says that jay-z (Hawaii sophie fame) was trying to kill 2pac. And in the song bomb first which is also the intro he says " I'm a Bad Boy Killa, Jay-Z die too". He was saying this because Jay-Z was really close to The Notorious B.I.G.
I hope this answers your question.
