Thoughts on the New Matchbox Twenty ?

Hey, Just wanted to ask what people think of More Than You Think You Are?

I used to really like Matchbox... this new record is OK. It has a few great songs, but a few too many similar sounding mellow numbers... I think I'll have to listen to it a few more times... so far it's certainly no "mad season" but i'll wait and see....

they are my fav. band. so far i've enjoyed it, sound is much different from previous albumns. seems more hard rock than anything they've done. i do hear the writing styles/influences of mick jagger, willie nelson and, especially, the beatles. anyone else hear this? still have the last half to listen to.

Yeah, I agree with you. "All I need" reminds me of that Roy Orbison song...... "Bright Lights" is another great one.
